Gerhard Schwaiger worked in various haute cuisine restaurants in Germany until he became famous in Mallorca in 1986 as chef at the Tristán restaurant in Puerto Portals for his creative cuisine. For his ideas and his creativity he was awarded with two Michelin stars for 20 years by the red Michelin Guide. It is pretty clear Schwaiger is considered one of the most renowned chefs in the culinary scene.
